Zumba
Let's face it, working out can be healthy, rewarding and beneficial. Working out can be lots of things, but it's never been known to be an exhilarating experience...UNTIL NOW!
The Zumba Fitness® program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away. Our goal is simple: We want you to want to work out, to love working out, to get hooked. Zumba® fanatics achieve long-term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exciting hour of calorie-burning, body-energizing, awe-inspiring movements meant to engage and captivate for life!
The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Add some Latin flavor and international zest into the mix and you've got a Zumba® class!
Zumba: $5 drop-in price; $20 punch card for 5 classes
Yoga
Yoga is for everyone. Yoga heals, detoxifies and exhilarates the body and mind with emphasis on movement, balance and intention. Yoga can reduce stress, control weight, relieve lower back pain and enhance focus. Classes will include pranayama (breathing exercises), asana (postures) and relaxation (meditative imagery) to align the body and free the mind. Ayurvedic (Science of Life) tips will be included in all classes.
Beginners will learn correct alignment to fold forward, bend backward, lengthen the side body and twist to cleanse. This class is open to beginners and beyond.
Yoga for Athletes will challenge individuals who are currently working out or practicing yoga. Sun Salutations will prepare the body for strengthening yoga postures. Moderate fitness level recommended.

Pure Dance Works Creative Dance/Pre-Ballet Classes
Classes at Pure Dance Works are designed to be child-friendly, first and foremost. Creative dance is FUN; but it is not just fun and games. Lessons in ballet technique, dance concepts, and the chance to express oneself with what has been taught through improvisation and group choreography are a vital part of any dancer's education. What students learn in creative dance will serve them well as they grow and continue to develop their skills in any dance genres.

Kinetic Revelation Academy of Dance Ages 3-Adult
Ballet: Ages 6 and up.
Ballet is the foundation that other styles of dance build on and it's importance to dance training can't be overstated. We use a curriculum that encompasses elements of the three major schools of ballet, to give students a well-rounded ballet education. It also increases poise, confidence, flexibility and strength.
Pointe: Ages 12 and up, with several years of previous ballet training and by teacher's evaluation and referral only
Stressing proper ballet technique while using pointe shoes for the dancer who is both emotionally and physically ready for this challenge. Sufficient turn out, strength, balance, and mastery of basic ballet technique is required and the student must take ballet at least two times per week.
Ballet/Tap Combo: Ages 3-5.
Half ballet, half tap keeps us moving and learning technique appropriate for this age and level of development. It is a fun, fast paced introduction to both the extremely important foundation of ballet, and the fun and rhythm of tap.
Tap: Ages 6 and up
In this percussive form of dance, students learn various styles of tap, how to hear and count rhythms, and tap dynamics.
Jazz: Ages 8 & up with ballet training, or 10 & up without.
Encompasses current and appropriate jazz technique, including Broadway to Contemporary styles.
Worship: Ages 8 and up.
Focusing on utilizing technique-based dance as worship, including fabrics, flags, shadowing, interpreting scripture through dance, and more. Ballet technique class and/or experience is requested to take this class.
Hippity Hop: Ages 5-7
Stressing appropriate movement within the genre and ability of this age group. An exciting, fun-filled introduction to hip hop!
Hip Hop: Ages 8 and up
Stressing appropriate movement within current hip hop styles and trends, and use of the genre for spiritual warfare, celebration and praise.
TRX Suspension Training Class
TRX SUSPENSION TRAINING CLASS: A unique training tool that provides endless exercise options using your own body weight and gravity as resistance. The design of the TRX allows you to transition fluidly from exercise to exercise and provides limitless variations to keep your workouts challenging, fun, and results-driven. Suspension training is resistance exercise which has your body weight working against gravity for a total body workout. Suspension training exercise is what fitness experts call a "metabolic workout" or "metabolic training", which means a comprehensive workout of strength-based exercises that target multiple muscle groups at once, with short rest between each repetition and set. It is a great muscle strength, muscle endurance, and cardiovascular workout.
