Dance & Fitness Class Instructors
Zumba Class Instructor - Donna Gable
I first began Zumba to increase my stamina. I had been in karate for 8 years and lacked the stamina needed to be a successful karata. Within 2 months of taking Zumba, my stamina went through he roof. I was running circles around teenage boys! Not only did my stamina increase, but I lost 2 sizes in my waist. After 4 years of taking Zumba classes 2-5 times per week, a friend suggested that I get certified. I have never been happier than I am now being an instructor of something I believe in and know from personal experience works. Combine this with my high-energy personality, and my Zumba classes give everyone the workout they need and the party atmosphere they love.

Engage-Create-Shine!
Tiina Hazelett founded Pure Dance Works out of a desire to provide fun and effective dance classes for kids age 10 and under.
Ballet is Tiina's first love. She started taking ballet as a young child, and has also taken jazz, pointe, tap, and ballroom.
Tiina has taught preschool and early elementary dance classes for several years in the Fort Wayne area, and she has a passion for nurturing a love of dance in young children. While she loves teaching ballet and tap to school-aged children, she sees a real benefit in teaching creative dance to young children to give them a solid foundation in their dance education.
First and foremost, creative dance is FUN; but it is not just fun and games. Lessons in technique, dance concepts, and the chance to express oneself with what has been taught through improvisation and group choreography are a vital part of any dancer's education. What students learn in creative dance will serve them well as they grow and go on to explore other dance genres.
Whether a child dances for a short time or becomes a life-long dancer, Tiina wants to give every student the opportunity to engage, create and shine as they explore the world of dance in their younger years.
